Dr. Pat Quinlan is a physician executive with extensive experience in healthcare delivery, insurance, and integrated system management. Dr. Quinlan is the former CEO and Board Member of Ochsner Health System, where he led it through the Katrina crisis and advanced growth through mergers and acquisitions.
Previously, Dr. Quinlan acted as Chief Medical Officer, CEO of Ochsner International, and Chair of Louisiana’s largest HMO. Currently, Dr. Quinlan is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Hippo Technologies, Inc., and simultaneously serves as the Lead Director of Pan-American Life Insurance Group, with international advisory work in Saudi Arabia, the Caribbean, and Africa.
Dr. Quinlan is nationally recognized as one of the “50 most influential leaders in U.S. healthcare” and “the most powerful physician executive in the U.S.”. Dr. Quinlan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Phi Beta Kappa, special honors) from the University of Texas at Austin; a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston; and a Master of Science in Health Administration from the College of St. Francis.
